AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — A look at Masters tournaments that were affected by inclement weather over the last four decades:2019 — Round 2 was delayed a half-hour. Split tees were used in the final round, which began at 7:30 a.m. Sunday in anticipation of foul weather later in the day. The leaders teed off at 9:20 a.m. Tiger Woods won his fifth green jacket.2006 — A four-hour delay on Saturday forced Round 3 to be completed Sunday morning. Phil Mickelson went on to capture his second Masters title.2005 — A five-hour delay on Thursday led to first-round play being suspended by darkness with 68 players still on the course. They returned to complete the opening round on Friday morning. More weather delays pushed the completion of Round 3 into Saturday. The third round was suspended by darkness and had to be completed Sunday morning. MILWAUKEE (AP) — Nolan Arenado hit his 300th career homer, Jordan Walker also went deep and the St. Louis Cardinals won 6-0 at Milwaukee on Saturday night to end their four-game skid and snap the Brewers’ six-game winning streak.Arenado and Walker hit two-run shots off Eric Lauer (1-1) in the third inning to give the Cardinals a 6-0 advantage. Jordan Montgomery (2-0) made it stand by striking out nine and allowing three hits and two walks in seven shutout innings.Arenado won his 10th straight Gold Glove at third base last season. CINCINNATI (AP) — Luciano Acosta scored on a second-half penalty kick and FC Cincinnati continued the best start in club history with a 1-0 victory over the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night.Acosta’s goal came in the 69th minute and gave Cincinnati (5-0-2) back-to-back wins over defending Eastern Conference-champion Philadelphia (2-4-1) after failing to win any of the first eight meetings. Jabeur, who lost this championship a year ago to Belinda Bencic, will have to wait until Sunday to find out her opponent. (KDVR) -- The Colorado Council of Churches is prepping for the 76th annual Easter Sunrise Service, despite a concert Saturday night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. “It's people not only in the Colorado community but around the world," Adrian Miller, the executive director of the Colorado Council of Churches said Saturday. According to our Pinpoint Weather meteorologist, Liz McGiffin, the forecast for Sunday morning will make for a nice sunrise with not many clouds in the sky. “I think because of the weather forecast we are expecting about 10,000 people," Miller said. Devastated family members are sharing their pain as they mourn the loss of teenage twin brothers who died after rescue divers pulled them from a lake in Northwest Miami-Dade.7News cameras on Saturday captured a memorial set up near the water at Arthur Woodard Park where, Miami-Dade Police said, the 13-year-old boys drowned.The teens’ family spoke with 7News on Saturday. Loved ones identified the twins as Andrew and Alex Paul.“One wanted to be a police officer, the other one a firefighter,” said Joinel Louis, the twins’ father, through a translator. “They wanted to help people.”Investigators said a group of children were playing near the lake when one of the twins fell into the water, Friday afternoon.Police said his brother jumped in to try and rescue him.Rescue divers were able to quickly reach one of the boys. Crews are making progress battling a wildfire that sparked earlier this week in the Big Cypress National Preserve and continues to burn north of Alligator Alley.A traffic camera captured thick black smoke north of the highway near Mile Marker 119, just after 5 p.m., Saturday.Flames tore through brush, grass and trees about a mile north of Interstate 75.As of Saturday night, the fire, which broke out Tuesday, has burned more than 6,000 acres and is 40% contained.Meteorologists said the winds out of the south are blowing the smoke away from Broward and Miami-Dade counties and toward Collier County. However, a slight change in winds after midnight could put portions of Northwest Boward in the path of some of that smoke.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.Latest news
