ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Amtrak has announced that full service will be restored on the Empire Service Line on Thursday, November 16. The service line was temporarily suspended due to safety concerns caused by structure issues with a privately owned, non-Amtrak building above the Empire Line tracks in New York City. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The family of a paralyzed 11-year old girl is encouraged by a police social media post.Kansas City Police have released a series of photos from Nov. 1, showing two cars of interest. Detectives believe they’re related to a drive-by-shooting that left 11-year old Lauren Reddick unable to walk.Police records indicate that shooting happened near E. 80th Street and Hickman Mills Drive. SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — A U.S. tourist died in the Bahamas after a catamaran carrying more than 100 people sank while traveling to a private island, police said Wednesday.Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings told The Associated Press that the unidentified 74-year-old woman was from Broomfield and was on a five-day vacation with her family when the catamaran sank late Tuesday morning.The rest of the passengers and crew members were rescued.
