DENVER (KDVR) — The mild temperatures in the Denver weather forecast are about to end with only one last mild day on Friday. A Pinpoint Weather Alert Day has been issued for Sunday as a storm system heads to Colorado this weekend, with colder temperatures and rain and snow chances.According to Pinpoint Weather, Colorado’s Most Accurate Forecast, final snow totals are still in question because of the differences in track, strength and duration. DENVER (KDVR) — Police in Greeley arrested a man after discovering three nearly undetectable card skimmers at area ATMs.Police discovered three of the devices last week, all of them at ATMs at 7-Eleven stores in the city, according to a release from the Greeley Police Department. These were new kinds of card skimmers that were "nearly paper thin" and accompanied by pinhole cameras. (CNN) — TSA officers found 17 bullets wrapped in an “otherwise clean” baby diaper on Wednesday inside a passenger’s bag at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, the agency said in a news release.The hidden 9mm ammunition was discovered after a male passenger’s carry-on bag triggered an alarm in a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint’s X-ray machine.In its news release, the TSA referred to the discovery as a “new definition of ‘dirty diaper,’” and added that “apparently this guy needs a bullet-proof plan for packing his carry-on bag before heading to the airport for his next flight.”The passenger, an Arkansas resident, initially said he didn’t know how the disposable diaper filled with bullets got into his bag, the agency said. SAN DIEGO -- The 21-year-old Marine accused of leading police on a deadly pursuit through Escondido Monday night was arraigned in a Vista courtroom Thursday afternoon.Lane Corporal John Eugene Brand appeared in court with a black eye and pleaded not guilty to all charges.“He’s charged with gross vehicular manslaughter, evading causing death, causing great bodily injury," Deputy District Attorney Helen Kim said.Brand is accused of stealing Nike merchandise from Dick's Sporting Goods in Escondido with two 18-year-old females.
