A Cambridge pastor says his congregation is much bigger than a building after a multi-alarm blaze ripped through his church just hours after an afternoon Easter Sunday service had finished.The Rev. A boy shot in Mattapan tonight off Cummings Highway was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.The call came in for a “person shot” and police arrived at 8:25 p.m. to discover a “juvenile male” with a gunshot wound, police said. SAN DIEGO -- Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident in Ocean Beach Friday that left two pedestrians with serious injuries.The incident occurred around 5:43 p.m. in the 4700 block of Greene Street off West Point Loma Boulevard, according to San Diego police. The victims, a 31-year-old man and 31-year-old woman, were parked along the curb line of the road to unload luggage from a rental car when a vehicle traveling eastbound on Greene Street struck both pedestrians and their car. The driver then fled the scene, according to police, and continued eastbound on Greene Street towards Ebers Street. Global Affairs Canada says a Canadian has died in Antigua and Barbuda.Willikies Police Station, a local police force, has confirmed with The Canadian Press that the man, who they say was in his late 60s, drowned Saturday after falling from the Devil’s Bridge rock formation.The Caribbean nation’s armed forces says in a statement that the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force coast guard received a 911 call shortly before 7 a.m. local time stating a tourist had fallen over the landmark.They say another call was received shortly after reporting that the man had been found with a cut on his forehead and was unresponsive.The defence force says a search was conducted and the man was found about 30 metres from the bridge and was taken to a doctor at the coast guard’s base, where he was pronounced dead.Global Affairs says they are in contact with local authorities to learn more about the death and can provide no further information due to privacy concerns.This report by The Ca...Latest news
